Q. How often should I feed my dog?

A. Adult dogs benefit from 2 feeds a day. Puppies are usually fed 3-4 times a day. But by 16 weeks most dogs will do well on two feeds a day.

 

Q. My bitch is just coming into her first season, when can I have her spayed?

A. At least one month after the last day of her season.

 

 

Q. How often should I worm my cat?

A. Worming your cat every 3 months for tapeworm and round worm will ensure your cat is free from worms. You can collect an easy to administer tablet from the surgery which will kill all worms in one dose.

 

Q. What age can I vaccinate my kitten?

A. Kittens can be vaccinated from 9 weeks old. They require two injections three weeks apart. We recommend vaccinating against leukemia as well as cat flu.

 

Q. My puppy is 8 weeks old when can he have his first vaccination?

A. Your puppy can be vaccinated from 8 weeks onwards. He will need two injections two to four weeks apart to protect him against Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis and Leptospirosis.
